Giving young people a hand up not a hand out…
As a registered UK charity, we inspire UK teenagers so they can support and help orphaned communities within the poorest areas in South Africa and Uganda.
Our aim is to deliver each child’s basic needs: food, water, shelter and professional emotional support.
The Foundation works with international companies, UK schools, community groups and many individual volunteers to help change children’s lives, both here in the UK and in Africa.
We are funded entirely by donations. The Foundation do not take any administrative costs and every penny donated goes to one of our core projects…
Providing homes & shelter for child-headed families.
Our young UK volunteers help construct much-needed homes in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal region, while learning invaluable skills while changing lives.
Feeding children every day.
We’ve provided over 2.6 million meals to children in need through our partnership with Food4Africa. Your donation of just £2 per month will feed a child every school day for an entire year.

"We are a husband and wife run hair salon based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. We have created a space for employed and self employed hairdressers to work along side each other to learn, teach, grow and succeed together for individual goals and ambitions. Without the Coco's Foundation, this would not have been possible as we met on a volunteer trip with the Coco's Foundation back in 2012. We now have four beautiful children and continue to support the Coco's Foundation as without the amazing work they do we wouldn’t be who we are today and have what we have which we are so grateful for everyday."

Providing school uniforms.
Discover how your donated clothes and textiles are turning into life-changing school uniforms and cosy beds for orphaned children.
Through eBay sales, we’ve enabled 3,000 children to attend school and have also provided local employment. All thanks to the unwanted clothes and textiles you donate.
